Neutrally Blue Makeup Tutorial w/ MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua XL Color Paint

I love using colorful eyeshadows! The older I get, the more strategic I am with placement, but I still enjoy playing with them. Sometimes I look at old photos in my early makeup enthusiast days and wish someone had told me how I looked wearing full butterfly and leopard print artwork to school...on my face. I guess that's creativity for you! *shrug*

Recently, I was looking for a neutral cream eyeshadow and came across the new MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua XL Color Paint collection. I think it may be the most pigmented and beautiful cream eyeshadow I've encountered. The price tag for the size is a bit much, but I'll be sure to stock up this year at The Makeup Show for sure. I contemplated long and hard on whether I should purchase this gorgeous "Lustrous Dark Blue" and I'm so happy that I did! It's amazing -- waterproof, highly pigmented and doesn't fade throughout the day. I've even used it as eyeliner!
