Light Up Your Swimwear | DIY Nails with Essie Tropical Lights
This post is sponsored by Target.
Summer is officially here and it's swimsuit season, so I stopped by my favorite Target a few weeks ago to pick up a few trendy pieces for the season! I dropped the entire new pearlescent Essie Tropical Lights collection in my basket to add a little light to my looks as well. I'm such a neutral girl when it comes to nail polish, so these were definitely out of my comfort zone in the most stylish way!
Go Bold or Go Home | Reggae and Rum
This sporty swimsuit has been all over Instagram, so I had to get my hands on one! One nail color I never wear is green, but I instantly fell in love with Reggae and Rum. The combination looked stunning with my skin tone, and made me stand out in a fabulous way.
For the girl who: isn't afraid to play with lots of color. Go bold with nails and swimwear!
"Neutral" really might as well be my middle name! Even with the lack of bold color, this combo caught my eye and I could see so much potential. Since it's black and off-white, it can be paired with any nail polish in the Tropical Lights collection! Coral has been my top spring and summer color this year, so I decided to make the nails pop with Funships.
For the girl who: wants to play with bold and bright nails without the major commitment! Funships is the answer.
This is one of my favorite ways to rock a bold nail color that I don't exactly want to wear on my entire hand! I simply accessorize with it like a ring. I'll wear my usual neutral tone (in this case, it's Sand Tropez by Essie) and add the color of my choice to the ring finger! You can do this with bold or glittery colors easily. Since my one-piece is busy with a bright and colorful tribal print, I used Jewel in the Crown to complement.
