2015 Holiday Makeup Looks | 3 Simple Beauty Equations
This post is sponsored by Target.
It's finally the holiday season and you're going to need some gorgeous holiday makeup looks to complete your outfits for all of those parties coming up. Earlier this month, I once again visited my local Target Beauty Concierge for some of her holiday must-haves and came home with everything I needed! Now that Thanksgiving is over, I can reveal my three glamorous beauty equations. Can you solve them?
I’m obsessed with Frozen, so I had to create a look that made me feel like Elsa this year! My Beauty Concierge suggested the Wet n Wild glitter singles for my looks, but recommended that I use a base with them. The Maybelline Color Tattoo in ‘Stay Cool’ is perfect to help the bleached glitter glimmer a bit more. I love that the glitter singles are gels, so you don’t have to worry about a ton of fallout. I added this beauty equation to a blue shadow I’d already applied and they made the blue pop so much more for an icy frostbite look!
I’ve been dying to create the perfect graphic liner and my Beauty Concierge found just the right liners to help me achieve the look I wanted. I used the NYX Liquid Crystal Liner in gold to create a thick cat-eye and then created a thinner black line with the e.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner for a double line. She also let me swatch the No 7 Shine & Tint in Ruby since I was looking for a glossy red lip. The great thing about a stain is that as you sip cocktails at your next holiday party, the color will stay all night! Who wants to keep running to the bathroom every 30 minutes to reapply? This is a great solution to keep in your clutch.
With Marsala as the Pantone Color of the Year, I've purchased so many burgundy makeup products and clothes! I love the way the color looks on my deep skin tone. Add a few pops of gold and you have my heart! I actually have a holiday party coming up in a few weekends, so I think this look would be gorgeous. It's fairly close to my everyday brown smokey eye, but with a lot more sparkle. Since my Beauty Concierge recommended the bleached glitter for my last look, I bought it every color they had available! They were so inexpensive, too. I used the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold as my base and pulled this holiday look together with Maybelline's Color Sensational matte lipstick in Burgundy Blush.
